Coconut farm elopement /// Toni + Brett

I love shooting big weddings, I really do, but there’s something about small ceremonies that capture an energy that I especially enjoy. This is the elopement of Toni and Brett, with their daughter Harper.  They came all the way from Baltimore to say their I dos in Maui. They could not have chosen a better location as the stage for their elopement - Puaneka Palms.  A coconut farm on top of Launiupoko with sweeping ocean views framed by Lanai and Molokai.  From there we headed down Launiupoko Beach park for some intimate bride and groom photos.  I am so happy with the results and I hope you enjoy this share of some of my favorites from their session.  It was such a pleasure working with this rad family.  Here are Toni + Brett + Harper.

Cheers!

Seattle to Hawaii /// Heather + Bobby

Kapalua, HI /// A few weeks ago I got to work with these two - they were getting married at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua.  It was a first time for me to photograph at that location and I was a little nervous.  But hey - it’s always rad to get out of your comfort zone, and I love those destination weddings.  I could tell Heather and Bobby were so deeply in love the first time I met them.  They didn’t see each other until the ceremony and when Heather walked down the aisle and looked at Bobby, the look on his face was priceless!  So fun working with them!  We took a long walk, shot at a nearby cliff, then headed down to the beach.  They were open to all my suggestions and ideas and I just love working with couples who are open to the experience! Congratulations to both of you!! Looking forward to seeing you on Maui again.

Vendors for this celebration:

Way up north /// Sierra + Nick

I love when couples just let me pick a spot for our session and go with it.  Maui’s beauty never ceases to impress me and I’m always reminded of this when choosing locations for my couples.  I don’t  know the “official” name of this spot, I just know it’s way up north on the westside of Maui /// Sierra and Nick are some of the sweetest humans.  It was so fun to roam around this breathtaking island and create stunning photographs with them.  Here are my favorites from our session.  Enjoy!
