Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
We are currently on vacation from Maui, freezing ourselves in the Pacific Northwest where we are visiting family and working on a couple of photo shoots in awesome Seattle. From here, we are going to travel to South America to visit my family in Brazil.
The photography work and blog posts aren’t going to stop just because I am traveling and I’m actually super excited to be working in completely different destinations for a few weeks, shooting families, portraits, weddings, landscapes and whatever else comes my way.
Before I packed my suitcases for the trip, I had the pleasure of working with some familiar faces for a family portrait session on Maui. In March 2016, I worked with Grace and Taylor as their wedding photographer and this year I got to work with them again—this time as their family photographer!
We headed up to Honolua Bay, a place where I love to shoot portraits. If you take a look back through my blog, you'll see that I have worked here many times as I love the options it gives me in terms of backgrounds, with the jungle-like forest and the rocky bay. My clients always love this spot too, it's so peaceful and the final images look like they could have been shot in old Hawaii, without a hotel or building in sight.
I really love it when clients return to work with me and I’d like to give a big thank you to Grace, Taylor and Aubree for such a fun photo session. I look forward to seeing you guys back out here again in the future.
Here are a few of my favorites from the Freitas family shoot. Enjoy!
Bye for now, Rodrigo
