I hope you all had fun celebrating New Year’s Eve, I still can’t believe it’s already 2017! In a couple of weeks I’ll be back in Brazil with my partner and daughter and I can’t wait. We’ll be visiting family, traveling, eating the Brazilian food that I miss so much and, in a professional capacity, I’ll also be shooting some family and couples’ portrait sessions. It’s going to be a great trip!
Speaking of traveling, one of my photography goals for 2017 is to work throughout Hawaii and the U.S. mainland as a destination wedding photographer. I love to travel and being able to shoot such fun occasions in new and exciting places is the dream. Right now, I’m actually in the process of organizing travel plans to photograph some past clients who are getting married in Southern California, which is awesome.
However, let’s pause for a moment and turn back the clock, to Sarah and Jason’s beautiful Maui wedding. It was one of the final wedding ceremonies that I photographed in 2016 and it was such a great way to end the year. The happy couple were part of a big, fun family group that flew in from Oregon and their laughter and smiles were everywhere from start to finish. They really were a blast to work with.
Capturing the bride and groom’s love for each other was a piece of cake because, as you can see from the pictures, Sarah and Jason are madly in love and it comes through in every single photograph. What a colorful and happy celebration it was, here are some of my favorite images for you to enjoy.
Aloha for now, Rodrigo.
